To a stirredsolution of the above product (0.65 mmol, 182 mg) in anhydrous THF (10 mL) was added DMAP(0.13 mmol) and TEA (0.98 mmol) at 0 C. Then (Boc)2O (0.78 mmol, 170 mg) was added. Aftercompletion, water was added, and the mixture was extracted with ethyl acetate (3 ¡Á 20 mL). Thecombined organic phases were dried with anhydrous Na2SO4 and concentrated under reducedpressure. The residue was purified by flash chromatography on silica gel (hexane/ethyl acetate).
