General procedure: In an ordinary vial equipped with a Teflon-coated stir bar, thiourea IV or V (0.04 mmol, 11.89 mg, 20 mol percent) was dissolved in 1.0 mL of THF. The crude mixture was then purified by flash column chromatography silica gel, using hexane/ethylacetate 2:1 as the eluent. Solvent was removed in vacuo to give the desired products.
