It was quenched with water (150 mL). The resulting solution was extracted with ethyl acetate (5 x 30 mL). The organic layers were combined, dried over sodium sulfate and concentrated under vacuum. The residue was applied onto a silica gel column eluting with dichloromethane/methanol (10 /1). This resulted in 280 mg (41%) of 2-(2-[[4-amino-3-(4-phenoxyphenyl)-1H-pyrazolo[3,4-d]pyrimidin-1-yl]methyl]-2-methylpropyl)-2,3-dihydro-1H-isoindole-1,3-dione as a yellow oil.
