A mixture of 5-bromoisoindolin-1-one (636 mg,3.0 mmol), 1D (800 mg, 3.0 mmol), Pd2(dba)3 (82 mg, 0.09 mmol), Xantphos (52 mg, 0.09 mmol) and Cs2CO3 (1.17 g, 3.6 mmol) in dioxane (60 mE) was heated to 1000 C. for 4 h.
