The reaction mixture was stirred at room temperature for 7 days. The reaction mixture was diluted with water. The precipitate was filtered off, washed with water and taken up with EtOAc. The organic layer was washed with a 10% solution of K2CO3 and water, dried over MgSO4, filtered and the solvent was concentrated under reduced pressure to give terf-butyl 4-(3-((1 -(2-(2-((fe/t-butyldimethylsilyl)oxy)ethoxy)-4-chlorophenyl)-2-oxo- 2-(6-(trifluoromethoxy)indolin-1 -yl)ethyl)amino)-5-methoxyphenoxy)butanoate 8e (385 mg). The compound was used without further purification in the next reaction step.
