Description 12:(Z)-3-((3,5-dimethyl-1H-pyrrol-2-yl)methylene)-5-methoxyindolin-2-one5-Methoxyindolin-2-one (50 mg, 0.31 mmol) and 3,5-dimethyl-W-pyrrole-2- carboxaldehyde (1.2 equiv., 45 mg) were heated together in ethanol (1 ml) and piperidine (2 drops) in a microwave (150C, 30 min). The reaction mixture was cooled to room temperature and diluted with ethanol. The precipitate was filtered, washed with ethanol, and then with ethyl ether, air-dried to give the product as an orange crystalline solid.
