To I-3.2 (91 mg, 0.40 mmol) in anhydrous dioxane (8 mL) is added R5 (155 mg, 0.61 mmol) and potassium acetate (120 mg, 1.22 mmol). The mixture is purged with Argon, [1,1?-Bis(diphenylphosphino)ferrocene]dichloropalladium(II) (PdCl2(dppf)) (33 mg, 0.040 mmol) added and heated to 80 C. for 1.5 h. The reaction mixture is diluted with EA and water, the organic layer washed with brine, dried and concentrated. The residue is purified via column chromatography (cyclohexane/EA=1:1).
